Join me and Ignacio Palacios on an adventurous journey into the heart of Venezuela’s greatest natural wonders. Our expedition
takes you deep into Canaima National Park to witness Angel Falls, the world’s tallest waterfall, surrounded by the ancient, unique
tabletop mountains of the Gran Sabana. Plunging dramatically from the cliffs of Auyán-tepui, these falls descend nearly one-kilometre
into the jungle below. Because this pristine landscape is accessible only by air and river, the journey itself feels like a passage into a
remote, untouched, and timeless world.
From the jungle, we travel to the edge of Lake Maracaibo to witness the legendary ‘eternal storm’. Set against vast wetlands and
distant mountain peaks, this unique atmospheric phenomenon ignites the night sky with near-continuous electrical displays. For hours
each night, silent lightning illuminates the horizon, creating a breathtaking natural light show found nowhere else on earth.
