Join me on this exciting, off the beaten path journey to two of west Africa’s most vibrant countries, Benin & Togo.
The trip is timed around the Vodun Festival in Ouidah, the spiritual tradition we know as “voodoo,” where rituals honour
supernatural forces in colour, dance, drums and chants. Apart from the festival we will have the opportunity to experience
and photograph a wide range of subjects including early morning fishing scenes, colourful markets, artisans & traditional
craftspeople at work, remote village rituals, the stilt town of Ganvie and UNESCO listed Tamberma Valley.
This 13-day trip starts in the port city of Cotonou on Benin’s south coast Benin and finishes in Lome, Togo’s vibrant coastal
